Thank you for coming
A total of 116 people attended our public exhibition sessions on 22 and 23 November. We also held a dedicated session for local groups, which was attended by representatives from organisations including the Crystal Palace Community Association, Crystal Palace Park Trust, the Friends of Crystal Palace Park, Crystal Palace Subway, Crystal Palace Sports Partnership, the Penge Forum and the Norwood Society.
People have been able to submit comments at the exhibition sessions, online and using freepost comment cards.
So far, we have received the following responses to our questions:
Do you support our proposed rebuilding of Crystal Palace Park Farm? (90 responses)
Do you support our plans for new teaching facilities next to the Crystal Palace Museum? (89 responses)
The most common reasons cited by those supporting the proposals were the improved facilities for students and the benefits to Crystal Palace Park and the wider community. Issues raised by those expressing concern included the visual impact on the park and the relationship with a potential future extension of the Croydon tramlink.
Feedback can still be submitted on this website. Capel Manor College will now continue to work with local stakeholders, Bromley Council and the GLA to develop the best possible scheme.
We offer FE and HE courses in horticulture, tree surgery, floristry, garden design, countryside management and the environment, animal care and saddlery.
Our Crystal Palace Park campus is currently based in various rooms and workshops in the National Sports Centre’s (NSC) Jubilee Stand, and at our very popular Crystal Palace Park Farm.
Capel Manor College need to vacate our existing premises in the NSC. We want to provide the very best facilities for students and staff and are seeking a permanent base
